Welcome to Finchley Therapy Practice. I’m Kate Williams, founder of the practice. We are a small, established team of counsellors, psychotherapists, psychologists and a consultant psychiatrist working within a clinically grounded environment. Our practice is located approximately five minutes’ walk from Finchley Central Station, in a discreet building designed specifically as a counselling centre. Unlike standard business centres, Finchley Therapy Practice offers a setting that is quiet, confidential and purpose-built for therapeutic work. We have five consulting rooms suitable for individual therapy, couples work, family sessions and art therapy.
Many therapy rooms to rent in London operate as transactional spaces. There are opportunities for therapists to become part of the wider Finchley Therapy Practice network, for those seeking a more consistent base within a clinically led setting. Our model is intentionally different. At Finchley Therapy Practice, you are joining a working clinical environment rather than simply hiring a room. The focus is on:
A calm, consistent and professional therapeutic setting
A clinically informed environment shaped by experienced practitioners
A sense of connection within a small, established team
This creates a more contained and reliable environment for both therapists and clients.
We offer flexible therapy room hire in Finchley to suit different stages of private practice:
Book rooms from just 1 hour
24-hour cancellation policy for ad hoc bookings
Option to secure regular weekly slots
Flexibility to increase or adjust hours over time
This structure supports therapists who are building or developing private practice, without the rigidity often found in other consulting room settings.
Working in private practice can at times feel isolating. Finchley Therapy Practice is structured to offer appropriate professional connection without losing independence.
Monthly group supervision (included)
Opportunities for informal connection with other therapists
Social gatherings throughout the year
The aim is to offer a professional base that feels stable, connected and supportive, while maintaining clear clinical boundaries.
