I work with adults of all ages. Are you feeling anxious or low? Are you looking to find purpose or make a change? Do you feel alone or on the outside? I offer a safe, confidential space for you to bring whatever you need and whoever you are. A way for you to understand, confront, resolve, heal and grow.

About Nike

How I can support you

The experience of feeling truly understood, of being fully heard, is what I offer to you. Through my own experience, professional and personal, I know this to be a powerful enabler of healing and change.

Perhaps you feel anxious, low or at a crossroads? You have feelings and thoughts that are difficult, painful – even unbearable? I provide a secure space, where you can share what cannot be said elsewhere. Where you can be everything that you need, want and are – perhaps even for the first time.

My experience includes working with:
• Addiction
• Anxiety
• Bereavement and loss
• Culture, heritage and race
• Depression
• Gender and sexuality
• Identity and belonging
• Life change: including divorce and retirement
• Low self-esteem
• Loneliness
• Relationship issues
• Trauma
• Work and career challenges

What to expect

I am an Integrative Counsellor. It means that I am able to draw on and incorporate a wide range of psychotherapeutic ideas and practices, to offer you a way of working that is unique to you. There are many ways to harness our strengths and resources and together we will find the most enabling way forward for you.

I value all that you are – unconditionally. I work with awareness and sensitivity to you as a person – your culture, heritage, race, body, disability, age, beliefs, gender, sex, orientation. My pronouns are she/her.

How we work together

Sessions are weekly, for 50 minutes. I work on the phone, online and in-person. With most clients I work on a long-term basis. Though if you are looking for a shorter period then we can discuss this together.

Please get in touch and we will arrange a short phone call to discuss your needs.

I am a fully qualified, BACP registered Counsellor and hold an Honours Degree in Psychology. I am a member of the Black, Asian and African Therapists Network.
