About Danielle

I am a fully qualified, Integrative Counsellor, MBACP Reg. with 10 years’ experience working with clients offering individual one-to-one counselling for adults and young people. My ability to build sustainable and fulfilling relationships with my clients allows me to quickly establish a safe and confidential space in which to talk about and explore issues and perhaps gain some clarity as to what it is that you are bringing.

We are all different and life is a journey that has many paths, some that move you forward and others that don’t; what works for one person may not necessarily work for another. As an Integrative Therapist I work in a flexible way using the combined approaches of Humanistic and Psychodynamic Therapy. You may be experiencing anxiety/stress, a loss in some way through bereavement, relationships or work issues. What feels important is to have humanity and a sense of realness in the relationship, these values give me meaning not only as a counsellor but the person I am.

I work daytime and evening and I offer short and longer term and time-limited counselling. I have worked in a variety of settings and I am currently attached to an NHS doctors’ practice as well as private practice. I also run training workshops for qualified therapists. I adhere to the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy’s Ethical Framework & Guidelines.
