Clinical Supervision for Counsellors & Psychotherapists in Finchley, North London

Psychodynamic, Relational & Trauma-Informed Clinical Supervision

I offer individual and group clinical supervision in Finchley, North London, for trainee, newly qualified and experienced counsellors and psychotherapists seeking a thoughtful, reflective and containing space to explore their therapeutic work. My supervision approach is grounded in psychodynamic, relational and trauma-informed practice, with close attention to both the client’s internal world and what develops within the therapeutic relationship.

Clinical supervision offers an opportunity to think beyond the presenting issue and explore unconscious processes, attachment dynamics, transference and countertransference, relational patterns, boundaries, risk and the emotional impact of therapeutic work. I aim to provide a collaborative and non-judgemental supervisory relationship where uncertainty, complexity and difficult clinical material can be considered openly and safely.

I have particular experience in trauma, childhood trauma and complex PTSD (CPTSD), as well as ADHD, anxiety, depression and low mood, bereavement and loss, low self-esteem and relationship difficulties. I can therefore support therapists working with developmental and relational trauma, disrupted attachment, emotional dysregulation, chronic shame, unresolved grief and complex interpersonal dynamics.

My professional background includes psychotherapy within an NHS GP practice, lecturing in counselling and psychotherapy at Kent and Medway, and leading bereavement support services during the COVID-19 pandemic. As an Accredited BACP Psychotherapist, I bring this breadth of clinical and professional experience into supervision while respecting each supervisee’s modality, level of experience and developing therapeutic identity.

I offer individual clinical supervision, group supervision and reflective supervision for counsellors and psychotherapists who want to deepen their clinical thinking, strengthen ethical practice and develop greater confidence when working with complex emotional and relational presentations.
