    Free Introductory Consultation

  • I offer a free introductory consultation, by phone or in person. This is an opportunity to discuss what brings you to therapy, what you are looking for, and whether working together feels like the right fit. There is no obligation to continue after the consultation.

Perhaps you are going through a difficult time, feeling stuck and unsure how to move forward. You may be trying to make sense of experiences that are difficult to put into words, questioning your identity or direction, or reflecting on your work, relationships, or what gives your life meaning. Sometimes, words alone are not enough to express what we are feeling.

Dramatherapy offers a creative, effective way to explore thoughts, feelings, and experiences through voice, movement, imagery, symbols, and metaphors, alongside conversation. These approaches can help you make sense of what is happening, uncover and untangle inner conflicts, and see things from a new perspective. It can help you find new ways of responding to difficulties, make changes, and move towards a life that feels more manageable and fulfilling.

You do not need any previous experience in drama or the arts. We work collaboratively and at your pace, finding an approach that feels right for you. Sessions may involve creative exploration, conversation, or a combination of both.

My approach is trauma-informed and culturally sensitive, with particular interests in intergenerational trauma, identity and cultural heritage, and family and relationship dynamics.

I work in accordance with the professional standards, ethical principles, and codes of practice of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Association of Dramatherapists (BADth).

Alongside my therapeutic practice, I am an artist and theatre practitioner with extensive experience working with children and young people in educational settings. My background in the arts and education is central to my therapeutic practice, bringing together creativity, curiosity and psychological understanding.

My areas of clinical expertise include family and relationship difficulties, parenting and motherhood, behavioural and mental health difficulties in children and young people, neurodiversity, trauma, dementia, anxiety, and low mood.

I believe that an honest and trusting therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful change. I aim to create a safe, contained, and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and understood, and explore what matters to you at your own pace.
